One of the very first fine dining restaurants in Harlem is Prime One 16 now under new management known as Boca Prime. The first time I went I was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance. The lights were dim and the music was soft. It’s not a huge establishment as it has only a handful of tables but that is what makes the place so enjoyable. You’re not surrounded by a huge, loud crowd. You can eat and have a converstion without having to shout. The food is divine. They have a cilantro rice that is……..I don’t have words for how good it is. The seafood platters are also amazing and the drinks are delicious. Well worth the visit.
